PLAY Doggie Daycare take our staffing needs very seriously. In a traditionally very high turnover industry, we aim to build solid, long-standing teams so that, as an owner, you are regularly seeing familiar faces and can build relationships with the staff who will care for your dog. The majority of our staff have been with us for at least two years, some as long as four years.
Sarah decided to open PLAY Doggie Daycare in 2012. A native of England, her background had been in IT Marketing with managerial positions at ORACLE UK; establishing and operating Slater Graphic Design. Before that she trained and worked as an NNEB Nursery Nurse - the quintessential english Nanny! She is certified in animal CPR.
Another Brit, Cesira has worked in the Seattle dog daycare industry since 2006. Her knowledge is expansive and she has the passion to match. She is CCPDT qualified which she has been sharing with the PLAY team since Jan 2015. The only other thing Cesira loves more than dogs, is her cat Jonesy. Cesira is certified in animal CPR.
Jamie has been caring for dogs since 2013. She volunteers at both the AHELP project for sick and elderly dogs, and the Seattle Animal Shelter. She has shared her love and passion of dogs with us since June 2016. Her spare time is spent hanging with Malik, her mini aussie and quilting, or sewing winter jackets and blankets for our PLAY pups!
Tulaya joined PLAY as a Rufferee in Oct 2016, and now oversees the daily fun and high jinks at PLAY on the Hill. She has volunteered in animal shelters and community theater.
Anthony is a Washington native who began working in Seattle's dog daycare industry since 2010, and with PLAY since Feb 2013. He has a huge passion for dogs and a natural talent to handle and communicate with them. They all love him! He is a fine self-taught musician who has been known to serenade the dogs at quiet time on his guitar. Anthony is certified in animal CPR.
Amanda has been in the daycare business since 2010, and with PLAY since May 2015. She always had a passion for animals since she was a little kid! Today she is working towards her zoology degree, and also volunteers with the orangutans at woodland park zoo! When not cuddling and entertaining your pup at PLAY, Amanda is enjoying the outdoors, cuddles with her plethora of animals at home, and listen to vinyls in her onesie!
Joshua has been working in Seattle dog daycares since 2009 in both wrangler and management roles. The dogs and staff at PLAY have been lucky to have him work with us since April 2016. His spare time is spent enjoying his mini-schnauzer, Jack, and playing guitar and enjoying music.
Megan joined the team in Feb 2017, bringing her unconditional love of all dogs to the PLAY pack. Her heart is with Pits and she has been fostering pits through forgotten Dogs rescue since 2014.
